Failure is Impossible tells of Elizabeth Cady Stanton & Susan B. Anthony's brave, sometimes lonely struggle to build a national woman suffrage movement, of Stanton's increasing radicalism and Anthony's emergence as the most celebrated woman in America. Though neither Stanton nor Anthony lived to see victory, the film ends with passage of the suffrage amendment for which they had struggled most of their lives.
