This program shows how personal computers are providing access to vast databases housing text, voice, images and video and how these merging technologies are changing the way people learn in schools and universities. The 1st segment looks at media rich composition and data, including voice recognition and synthesis. The 2nd part looks at collabroation and networking, demonstrating an intuitive information retrival tool that can be used in research. Finally, there is a demonstration of the use of simulation and modeling programs in schools.
