Documentary film recorded in June 1970 during initial attempts of Pit River Indians to regain their ancestral tribal lands. Describes the night assault of 200 Pit River Indians on native lands which the Indians felt were illegally occupied by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Shasta County, Calif. Shasta County is used as an example of how Indian land is exploited by large national corporations. Conflict between Pacific Gas and Electric - the largest privately owned power company in the world - is emphasized.
