In a session that David Epston calls "his most unforgettable interview" he meets with Sebastian, an 11-year-old who has been hospitalized for out-of-control behavior. The subtlety of narrative ideas and clinical practices are dramatically demonstrated. Epston's deliberate and playful manner reveal the post-structural, liberating aspect of this work. He provides an introduction and follow-up to the session some eight years later including correspondence from Sebastian.
