The HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials: Knowing Your Options video was designed to help people living with HIV/AIDS learn more about what clinical trials are and to help them make informed choices about whether to participate in medical research studies at any point in their treatment. The video and related materials were produced by the AIDS Clinical Trials Information Service (ACTIS). A national information and referral service, ACTIS provides the latest details on federally and privately sponsored clinical trials for experimental drugs and other HIV-related therapies for adults and children. ACTIS is sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the National Library of Medicine.
