A 300-mile journey begins in the oasis city of Turfan and ends in Korla. Visit to the 800 miles long lake called Pearl of the Desert and a Buddhist cave with painting depicting the many incarnations of the Buddha, called the Music Cave by the Germans for the different musical instruments in the paintings.
