Rival factions within French intelligence ruthlessly conspire to unsurp power ... their "inspired" plan: pass off a randomly selected dupe as a "superagent." Every nincompoop antic of concert violinist Francois (Pierre Richard) escalates with hilarious paranoid implications. France's future hangs in the balance as frustrated enemy spies eavesdrop on our unsuspecting patsy, Francois, whose discordant affair with a pretty harpist is complicated by her suspicious percussionist husband. Topping the complications is a sexy "secret weapon" (Mireille Darc) deployed to bring Richard to her knees.
