In this third volume of films from Chaplin's Mutual Film Corporation period (1916-1917), Charlie Chaplin's comic brilliance shines in four of his most hilarious shorts. With inspired support from regular Chaplin players Edna Purviance and Eric Campbell, Chaplin gives wondrous, fall-down-funny (and falling down) performances as an immigrant, an escaped convict and a born-again policeman.
Included in this collection are some of Chaplin's most dizzylingly clever comic sequences - watch for the classic restaurant scene in "The Immigrant."
