LT2292 .Holt P43 Gr.9-12 1999 Video
The Holt Economics Videodisc is an engaging video program that puts students in the role of economic decision makers. Each video segment provides an indepth dramatization of an actual case study and provides a decision point to allow students to choose what they think would be the best resolution of the case. Students work through a corresponding activity from this Teacher's Guide to gain more information about the case and to focus on the main issues; then they make their decision. Afterward, the video provides feedback and shows students the actual outcome of the case.
The Holt Economics Videodisc program consists of one double-sided videodisc and a Teacher's Guide. The videodisc contains interactive, in-depth dramatizations of six case studies - one for each unit of the Holt Economics pupil's edition. The videodisc includes closed captioning and Spanish and English audio tracks. In addition to providing activities for all case studies, the Teacher's Guide includes instructions to teachers, student activities, and answer keys.
