A Miracle in the Making depicts the amazing diversity of ways animals mate, carry their young and give birth. Male porcupines will doggedly spend all night navigating the quills of their mate. When seahorses mate, it's the father that gets pregnant and has the babies. A male damselfly refuses to budge even after he's injected a female with sperm, paranoid another male will come along and scoop out his sperm. Bats are born upside down, and the eggs a female crocodile lays in the sand could become male or female, depending on the temperature of the sand.
