Ryan Larkin is an animation pioneer and an OSCAR® nominee who, 30 years ago, created some of the most influential animated films of his time. Chris Landreth is a present-day pioneer of animation. Also an OSCAR® nominee, Landreth has created an award-winning "animated documentary" about Larkin, called Ryan, which is his most personal film.
Ryan: The Special Edition DVD is a provocative assembly of films that features Landreth's acclaimed short Ryan, as well as the fascinating full-length documentary Alter Egos, directed by Laurence Green. Earlier animated works by Chris Landreth, Bingo and the end, as well as the animated films of Ryan Larkin (Syrinx, Walking and Street Musique) are also in this remarkable collection.
