A look at two different design movements, the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau periods. Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this 1913 home features custom paint finishes and hand-crafted fittings of bronze, wood and glass that reflect the unique arts and crafts period. Designers and craftsmen worked to ensure that every aspect of the home is beautiful as well as useful. Brussels, Belgium, artist Paul Cauchie's home reflects the exquisite details of the Art Nouveau Period.
