The discovery of spears weighted like javelins, evidence of organized hunting and division of labour suggested that human intelligence had advanced dramatically and that hominids were able to communicate with each other effectively. Exodus
Africa is the home of the modern man. But why did a small group of early humans leave Africa and embark on a centuries-long trek, colonizing all corners of the globe? Thirty thousand years ago, we had replaced all hominids in Europe and Asia and by 10,000 years ago, we had spread to North and South America via Siberia. Incredibly, roughly 60,000 years ago, people had already arrived in Australia, a journey of thousands of miles in frighteningly primitive boats. What drove man to do this?
