I have been interested to read your letter of 9 July, which was referred to the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at this Institute.

I am sorry that I cannot answer the questions which you ask. There is no one in the Gates and Crellin Laboratories of Chemistry who is working on problems of this nature.
