the University of Valencia to LP RE: Is answering LP's letter of last June about his trip to
Europe. Was unable to attend the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, though he
heard of LP's brilliant speech on the fundamentals of resonance. Encourages LP to visit Spain. Is
interested in publishing a paper with LP regarding phosphorus.
- Pauling Scrapbook: The Campus of Allegheny College article entitled "Values of Molecular
Study Cited" RE: discusses LP's lecture at the school as he described the study of disease from a
physical aspect as "The future of medicine." In particular discusses the study of the relationship
between particular disease-causing microbes or viruses, and the drugs which cause their death.
