  • Letter from "Bob" [Corey?] to LP RE: States that Dr. Badger and his group want specimens of poly-a-amino acids, polyglycine, polyalanine, etc. for making fibers. He wants LP to talk to Dr. Ephraim Katchalski of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel about obtaining samples.
  • Letter from Adam F. Kudlacik, W.H. Freeman and Company, to LP RE: Notifies LP that the Chase National Bank in Tokyo has set aside just over $1000.00 for LP in yen for his expenses while in Japan.
  • Letter from LP to Mr. Mansoor ul Hassan RE: was glad to receive Mr. Hassan's letter in which he suggests an experiment to demonstrate the coiling of polypeptide chains to form antibodies in vitro. LP's lab actually carried out those experiments over ten years ago. Sends reprints of their antibody paper of 1940 and reprints about the manufacture of specific gels.
