  • Letter from LP to Peter Pauling RE: Writes to answer Peter's questions regarding heme-heme interactions. He also encloses a reprint of Science, 114, 629 (1951). Discusses bonding of Isocyanides to heme molecules in depth. Goes on to discuss the current work being done on globular proteins, including methods being used by Perutz. Discusses Kendrew's results. Concludes by stating that contrary to what he thought earlier, Peter may be able to do his doctorate work in the globular protein field. [Filed under LP Biographical: 5.020].
