  • Letter from Philip W. Hemily to LP RE: Sends this letter with a copy of his thesis which gives details on the structure of NaOH*4H2O which he and LP discussed last June in Paris. Goes on to describe the paper. Mentions a Prof. Bauer who is interested in it. Also includes a short paper on the NaOH*7H2O structure. [letter of response from LP to Dr. Hemily 9-14-53].
  • Letter from K. Linderstrom-Lang to LP RE: asks whether LP would be able to give a lecture on protein structure in Copenhagen. The lecture would be under the auspices of the Nordisk Insulinlaboratorium.
  • Note from John Michael O'Gorman to LP RE: writes that he is now back in academic life as associate professor and head of the department of chemistry at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
