This pertains to a short story regarding the Cox committee investigation of foundation support of "subversive activity". Quoted
in the article is Henry Allen Moe of the Guggenheim Foundation saying that there is a "correlation between academic eminence

about him, when Budenz referred to LP's relations with the Communist Party. Encloses a copy of the

states his opinions about universities in England. States that his views coincide with LP's that
