  • Letter from LP to Mr. E. G. Cox RE: thanks LP for sending the photostats of "Braviis's"? article and also for the manuscripts on oxylate ion and oxalic acid. Has had a productive summer and had a new idea about the structure of a-keratin type protein structures. [letter from Mr. Cox to LP 9-26-52].
  • Letter from Prof. Dr. E. Havinga to LP RE: Asks for advice from LP about which journal to publish his work on hemoglobin in, as he did the research in the Cal Tech department. Goes on to discuss his return to Holland. Invites LP to visit. Writes that he sends a few reprints on researches that he thinks will interest Gates and Crellin's Laboratories.
