  • LP Science: 6.018: LP works with feather keratin in his lab. Concludes that both pleated sheet and alpha-helix structures are found in different phases. He draws a diagram displaying the characteristic pattern for the pleated sheet in keratin. Also analyzes a giant african porcupine quill, and cow hair.
