  • Letter from W.L. Bragg RE: indicates that he is sorry that LP didn't make it to the Royal Society "discussion," as there was much debate about his model for the helix in particular about whether it is twisted or not. Says he is researching the structure of the helioglobin molecule as well as on living muscle.
  • Letter to Sir L. Bragg RE: Sends some proof in the form of documents that he was unable to attend the Royal Society discussion on proteins because he was refused a passport. Suggests meeting the following year to discuss the problem of the structure of proteins.
