  • LP and AHP leave New York at 12:50 AM from Jersey City and travel to Washington D.C.
  • LP and AHP check into the Hay Adams House Hotel. [Receipt, checkout 4-23-52].
  • Letter from Mr. Joe Capsin to LP RE: Thanks LP for his letter of 3-31-52 as well as the lovely photo of LP. Is glad to hear of LP's success in protein study. Is also glad to hear of LP Jr.'s internship in Honolulu. Says that he will watch over LP Jr. and says that he is in good company in Honolulu, in particularly with a Dr. Nils P. Larsen. Goes on to describe Dr. Larsen. [includes and newspaper clipping in praise of Dr. Larsen] [letter of response from LP 5-15-52] [Found under LP Correspondence: Box #41].
