  • LP and AHP fly to Chicago, and then on to New York. That night, attends Executive Committee meeting of Sigma Xi Graduate Club, 155 Elm Street.
  • LP rents a car from the Avis Rent-A-Car at La Guardia Airport.
  • Letter from Francis Bonner, ACS, to LP RE: Hopes that possibly in future years, LP could make trips to give speeches to regional portions of the ACS. [In reply to letter from LP to Bonner 4-15-52]. [Filed under LP Science: 14.004a].
  • Letter from the Department of the Navy Office of Naval Research to CIT RE: Additional research on the structure of proteins and polypeptides is requested, and the budget is increased from $25,000 to $75,000.
