  • Letter from LP to C.A. Coulson, King's College RE: tentatively accepts invitation to visit King's. [Reply to letter from Coulson to LP 4-7-52].
  • Letter from Dr. R. Byron Bird to LP RE: acknowledges the receipt of LP's last two letters. Says that he plans to accept an assistant-professorship at Cornell University, starting in September. [letter from LP 4-17-52]
  • AHP writes cheque: to: Walter Fritts amount: $36.20
  • LP Political: Box #2.002 LP Passport Problems 1945 to 1952, April 1952: Letter from LP to Mrs. RB Shipley, Chief of the Passport Division of the Department of State RE: asks Mrs. Shipley to reconsider her decision not to issue him a passport. Sends a copy of his letter from Mr. Hassett, Secretary to the President. Goes on in detail describing his revised itinerary so that it might help him obtain permission to travel overseas.
