Dear Sir:
I have been very pleased to learn from your letter of the appropriation of $900 granted my [sic] by the Committee on Grants-in-Aid of the National Research Council for half the salary of a full-time assistant. Will you kindly have the quarterly payments made to the Secretary of this Institute, Mr. E.C. Barrett, whom I shall inform as to their disposition.
