What is the OSU Libraries Catalog?
The library catalog is an index of items owned by:
- The Valley Library (Corvallis)
- The Guin Library (Newport)
- The Central Oregon Cascades Campus (Bend)
The catalog keeps records of many types of items, including:
- Books
- Videos
- Magazine and journal subscriptions
- Sound recordings
- Computer programs
- Links to selected Web sites
Why use the OSU Libraries Catalog?
You can use the catalog to:
- Find out if the OSU Libraries have an item
- Find out if the OSU Libraries subscribe to a particular magazine or journal
- Find out if an OSU Libraries item is checked out or available
- Find the location and call number for OSU Libraries materials
How do I access the OSU Libraries Catalog?
The catalog is online at http://oasis.oregonstate.edu/. It can be accessed from computers at many locations throughout the library. The largest group of computers is in the Information Commons on the main (2nd) floor of the building. Walk in, sit right down!
