Materials
As a student
at OSU Cascades, you have access to materials at the COCC Library
and the Library at Oregon state University.

Use
OASIS, the OSU online catalog, to search for materials. Click the
blue request button to request that items be sent to you. You will
be able to pick them up at the COCC Library. http://oasis.oregonstate.edu/
Loan Periods
- OSU undergraduates
and student affiliates, and non OSU borrowers may check out books
for 21 days with 3 renewals.
- OSU staff
and affiliates, OSU associates, corporate borrowers, and visiting
faculty may check out books for 30 days with 3 renewals.
- OSU graduate
students and their affiliates and OUS faculty can check out books
for 90 days with 3 renewals.
- OSU faculty
and affiliates may check out books for up to 6 months with 1 renewal.

You can renew materials online through the Online Renewal/Status of Requests option on the library catalog page or
by calling 541-737-2538.
Orbis-Cascade Catalog
Orbis-Cascade is an online library catalog of books in 26 academic
libraries in Oregon and Washington. You can request books from Orbis-Cascade
and pick them up at the COCC Library. http://summit.orbiscascade.org/

Interlibrary
Loans
If materials are not available through OSU or Orbis-Cascade, you can request
materials from another library through Interlibrary Loan. http://osulibrary.oregonstate.edu/ill/index.html

Library charges are posted directly to your OSU account; an invoice
is mailed to you at the end of each month during which there is
account activity.

50¢/day first 10 days; $1/day next 15 days, $20 maximum

Periods
- COCC and
OSU Cascades Campus students may check out books from the local
collection for a period of 3 weeks and may renew twice for another
three weeks.
- Faculty and
staff patrons may check out books for 12 weeks and may renew three
times for another 12 weeks.
