*Rhonda Hankins will
attend the Annual Conference for Donor Relations Professionals. Her
participation will strengthen OSULP's fundraising efforts as we enter the
2014-2017 post-campaign time period.
*Tiah Edmunson-Morton and Natalia Fernandez will use their award to develop and implement a statewide survey and collections development project for the Oregon Multicultural Archives and the Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives. This project is intended to strengthen our understanding of new approaches to building not just collections but communities as we continue to increase access to materials relevant to OMA and OHBA.
*Anne Bahde and Tom Johnson's award will enable them to explore the research preferences of undergraduate and graduate students at OSU related to finding aids and digital content and to analyze the ways that these users make connections among physical collections, guides to collections, and related digital objects. Their project should advance OSULP's achievement of several goals in our strategic plan—increasing virtual access to our special collections holdings and implement Researcher's Toolbox.
This award is thanks to the generosity of Bob Lundeen, a former member of the Library Advisory Council. He is an OSU alumnus and a tremendous supporter of OSU Libraries and Press.
